“Hallelujah” is a queer/circus concept about religion and the importance of choosing kindness regardless of our differences or beliefs. Religion is a tough subject for many in the LGBTQ community, and this piece is a reflection of the struggle and rejection we often feel. It tells the story of an individual troubled by the hate in the world and his partner who is fighting to lift him up, to remind him he is beautiful exactly how he is. My message is that religion should inspire more kindness and open arms, even towards those you may not understand.

It tells of the band's record return with "La luz del ritmo", reflecting in a very intimate way the process of creation and recording. Linking the documentary images, it includes interviews conducted by Marcelo Fernández Bitar, where the protagonists present the album song by song.

The members of the superband Los Van Van tell their individual stories, comment on the love and pride they feel for their group, and testify about the origin, development, and characteristics of the most famous Cuban dance orchestra—founded more than forty years ago by Juan Formell—until they won the coveted Grammy Award in February 2000. A witty and cheerful musical comedy made under the Communist regime. The Black Sea coast and the city of Constanta, in the height of the summer season, as well as the pearls of Romanian tourism, the resorts of Mangalia, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Olimp, offer a more than generous setting for a comedy with songs and dances, with beautiful boys and girls, with important ladies and gentlemen, with adventurers, for one day or for several days, with tangled suitcases, functions and destinies, in a turbulent humoristic atmosphere.

When a beautiful young woman in rural Moravia becomes unexpectedly pregnant, she learns that love is sometimes only skin-deep. Janáček took Gabriela Preissová's grim tale of infanticide and redemption, and condensed it into a masterful, spine-chilling drama. The tragic plight of the protagonists is presented with unsentimental realism that cannot help but trigger a response of deep compassion. Premiered at the National Theatre in the composer's hometown of Brno 115 years ago, the opera took him nine years to complete and is the first in which his distinctive voice can clearly be heard.

The action is relocated to occupied Athens after the Peloponnesian War (404 BC), where Mr. S. (= Socrates, played by Paul Hörbiger) proposes double marriage for men to the Athenian parliament and the four occupying powers for hidden personal reasons. Outwardly, he is concerned with providing for the many war widows. His deeper intention is to free the beautiful slave Euritrite as a concubine alongside the quarrelsome Xanthippe. The four occupying powers of the Macedonians (= US Americans), Persians (= Russians), Cretans (= English) and Corinthians (= French) are gently teased. On Socrates' advice, the law is adopted with an anonymous dissenting vote so that everyone at home can claim that it was him. Socrates can marry Euritrite. Xanthippe, however, favors the mutual infatuation of Euritrite and Socrates' student Plato (who had already invented Platonic love out of sheer desperation), and the other women also know how to spoil their husbands' pleasure in the new law.
