November 1970. Several human remains appear in a torrent of Sant Miquel de Balansat, a small rural town in the north of Ibiza. Sergeant Prats, head of the Spanish Civil Guard in the area, and Corporal Ramirez, his new assistant, arrive at the place where the bodies have appeared. Prats is not particulary suprised with the discovery and reveals to newcomer RamĂrez that the finding of human fragments is repeated year after year for two decades.
King Lines follows Chris Sharma on his search for the planet's greatest climbs. From South American fantasy boulders to the sweeping limestone walls of Europe, Sharma finds and climbs the hardest, most spectacular routes. Off the coast of Mallorca he discovers his most outrageous project yet, a 70 foot arch rising from the Mediterranean Sea...
A film that captures the spirit of "Fanaticos" climbers—those who have dedicated their lives to the sport. Living in vans and working odd jobs, they forge their own paths in pursuit of an obsession: the joy of climbing increasingly spectacular cliffs, pushing their limits, and sharing moments of camaraderie with friends. After a gentle opening featuring stunning footage of deep-water soloing in Mallorca, the film gradually builds in intensity. It shows Sharma tackling "Golpe De Estado" in Siurana (a route potentially rated 9b) and Dani Andrada nailing most of the moves on some of the most extreme routes in the Ali Baba cave at Rodellar, alongside other inspiring sequences of successful ascents across Spain (Siurana, Santa Linya, Rodellar).
