Debbi Peterson

In 1986, sponsored by MTV, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s college fundraiser 'Students Against MS' awarded a concert to be taped on the campus that raised the most money. Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh was the national winner, and the band performing live at the Syria Mosque... The Bangles!

After more than a decade apart, the Bangles reunite for a memorable concert of their greatest hits filmed live at the Hollywood House of Blues in 2000. Highlights include renditions of "Walk Like an Egyptian," "Eternal Flame," "Manic Monday," "In Your Room" and "Hazy Shade of Winter," plus a candid interview with band members Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, Vicki Peterson and Michael Steele about the highs and lows of pop stardom.

The rise to fame (and the near-fatal fall from it) of Patty Schemel, drummer for Courtney Love's seminal rock band, Hole. Given a Hi-8 video camera just before Hole's infamous Live Through This world tour, Patty captured stunningly intimate footage of the scene that has never been seen... until now. Not just an all-access backstage pass to the music that shaped a generation, Hit So Hard is a harrowing tale of overnight success, the cost of addiction, and ultimately, recovery and redemption.

This collection contains nine music videos of the Bangles from the Columbia Records period from 1984 to 1989.
