In the middle of summer, while sitting with his friends on a terrace, Bassie suddenly encounters Black Pete. But what is Black Pete doing in the Netherlands in summer? Bassie wants to find out, so he invites Black Pete for a drink.
When Bassie explains how the Bassie and Adriaan films are made, the children roar with laughter. When Bassie conjures up a cake for Adriaan, the children in the audience roar with laughter. Even when Bassie drinks a glass of lemonade, the children in the audience are doubled over with laughter! In short, the 'Laugh Spectacular Show' is the right name for this performance, which is packed with jokes, scenes, and songs just as we have come to expect from Bassie and Adriaan!
