Bitter Sweetheart is the naked truth about Lina Berglund, a perfectly normal 15-year-old who tries to start living like her friends, who seem to have so much fun.
A boy finds a dead woman. When police move the corpse they find the skeletons of two women who disappeared in the seventies.
They are people who have important significance for each other, but are not honest with each other. They live in a shadow world of lies and half truths and just waiting for the truth to come forward so they can continue their lives in a new direction.
