A Child Lost. A Loved One Gone. A Friend.

As a man lies on his deathbed, he shares a poignant final exchange with his son, delving into the memories of pivotal moments from the years 1979 and 1980. These memories paint a vivid picture of his deep bond with Dennis, his closest friend who battled glioblastoma at the age of 32, the eruption of Mount St Helen's, and a chilling secret concealed for decades.

Pesadilla delves into themes of greed, loss, destruction, and the raw vulnerability embedded in family dynamics. While some may interpret it as a horror film, others might view it as an unflinching exploration of brute, unfiltered human nature.

The story of Genaro Costelli, a young man growing up in a neighborhood that is controlled by the Mafia. After suffering personal and family sacrifice he must face the most difficult challenge of his life, that is, how to live free of the tenacious life-long grip of the mob. Add to this the love of a young woman he is trying to protect and how he must choose between his love for her and his obligations to the mob.
