Castle of the White Heron Nearly 1,000 years ago, in the ornate capital of Heian-kyo, there was a young, fair-skinned man of noble birth by the name of Abe no Yasunari, who was also a diviner. His foe was Tamamo no Mae. She was a bewitching magical fox who deceived the hearts of men. Time passed. Places changed. Now, the decisive day approaches at the splendid, renowned fortress known as the Castle of the White Heron. At times with grace, at times mysteriously, this revue of a Japanese tale depicts the fate of the diviner and the magical fox, in conflict and drawn to each other over the course of reincarnations spanning a millennium. Outsiders in the Renaissance While Leonardo da Vinci is celebrated as an all-around genius, there is still much about his life that remains unknown. One theory is that the inspiration for his creations was his love for a woman. This production depicts the affection and hatred between da Vinci and the figures in his life.

Chuushingura is based on a true story from the Genroku era, and has been retold in all kinds of fiction. In this interpretation, this tale, which has been universally loved since time immemorial, is presented by the Takarazuka Revue of the love and fantasy-filled Reiwa Era in a way that’s sure to entertain. The times of Kuronosuke and Kira align, and love shines in the heart of Edo, in a clock romance ticking away in a world of baroque rock.

The setting is Firenze (Florence), Italy, in the 1850s, where the Unification of Italy was beginning. Antonio is a sharp and virtuous young noble who is the oldest son of a marquis family. He meets Pamela, who used to be a singer at a bar but has now become the widow of a noble. He is charmed by her eyes that are deep with emotion and falls in love with her. On the other hand, the second son of the marquis family, Leonardo, is more free-spirited than Antonio. He believes that Pamela is a wicked woman who will lead his older brother to ruin. He therefore sets up a false romance to separate them, however...

As there are increasing performances in the Takarazuka Revue, in 1921, the Flower Troupe and the Moon Troupe were born, and the first Flower Troupe performance was held. The year 2021 celebrates the 100th anniversary for the Flower Troupe. And in this performance, it will be led by the new top combi Yuzuka Rei and Hoshikaze Madoka. The glamourous work of "The Fascination" will celebrate the establishment and 100th anniversary of the Flower Troupe. Jean, who hopes to become a singer-songwriter, spots a mysterious lump of metal at an antique shop he was led to by a girl. Possessed by the metallic object's strange charm, Jean purchases it. It makes a quiet noise as if a machine is running, and Jean is struck by a feeling of vertigo. An instant later, medieval Europe unfolds before Jean's eyes, like something straight out of a history class...

The story unfolds in England in the beginning of the 20th century. The protagonist is a young noble called Charlie. Soon after his mother's death his father George married another woman called Vanessa. His father dies too, and Charlie comes back to the family mansion called Barrington House as a legal heir. But there are two obstacles: terms made in the father's will, and also Vanessa and her daughter Isabel trying to claim their rights to inherit.

Takarazuka's 2022 Flower Troupe adaptation of the 1935 American musical of the same name which tells the story of an American dancer, Jerry Travers, comes to London to star in a show produced by the bumbling Horace Hardwick. While practicing a tap dance routine in his hotel bedroom, he awakens Dale Tremont (Ginger Rogers) on the floor below. She storms upstairs to complain, whereupon Jerry falls hopelessly in love with her and proceeds to pursue her all over London.
