The tendency in the world is right-wing, neo-liberal, and people are more controlled. We have less liberty even if we think we have more. The last territory where we can be ourselves and where we can have full freedom is our own body. The documentary "BARE" focuses on male nudity in the modern dance. The story follows a well-known Belgian choreographer Thierry Smits through a process of building his new creation with a group of male dancers performing bare naked.

Eleven men, eleven dancers, in a permanent state of nudity that underlines the diversity of their bodies and origins, throwing themselves, body and soul, into this « Anima Ardens » (burning soul).

SHOWERS is a steamy short film that takes place in the men’s showers. It was here that I had my first cruising experience. The shower is often used as a convenient place to relax and masturbate, and a solo shower is one of the most common porn videos in the internet. Not only do we wash our bodies while we’re showering, but it can also be a genuine form of self-care. The sensation of water caressing and touching ourselves to clean our bodies can be very stimulating. It increases blood flow and it helps to reduce stress.

BEACH 19 / PRAIA 19 is the most popular gay nudist beach in Portugal, part of a Nature Reserve near Lisbon with a extensive cruising section. Tension! Fervor! Satisfaction of outdoor sex! The tension rises slowly and seductively, the warm wind blows and the heat of summer burns, the action builds into a full-on group masturbation, sucking and fucking session. In this film, the visuals speak for themselves.

Cruising is usually associated to dark, dirty and hidden places where men meet for casual sex. There is a lot of prejudice against cruising. In this film the participants burn sage to do a cleansing ritual in cruising places. They are male nature spirits dancing naked with erections turning the space into a playful cruising ground, where it is possible to build connections between body, heart, mind, soul and nature. When we connect to all of that we are instead of splitting off and losing ourselves, the cruising ground can turn into a sacred place where we can feel grounded, secure, in harmony with the others and the surroundings.
