Champagne is one of San Francisco’s most notorious dancers. When she’s framed for her recent hubby’s death, she must outwit sinister businesswomen, incompetent detectives and sadistic prison guards. Starring a host of famous San Fran faces, Lady Champagne is the perfect queer counterpart to comedies like Airplane! and The Naked Gun.
After her fiancé, Rod, and her half-sister, Brandy are both brutally murdered, Champagne (a divorcée and exotic dancer from the wrong side of the tracks) uses “all the right moves” to single-handedly take on the largest sex, drug and back-to-school clothing ring in the country, Mal-Wart.
A high schooler from suburbia gets in touch with her sexuality while working at a dingy movie theater in the city.
