In a dystopian future, LucĂa, a young philosophy student, secludes herself in her grandparents' summer house. Her solitude is only hindered by the âSistema Ănico de Saludâ, which summons her for a new compulsory vaccination that she does not want to comply with, and she has only five days to solve the problem. Time moves forward between memories and encounters that LucĂa has with her partner, her best friend and an unexpected visitor. In a poetic key, the film proposes a reflection on individual freedom and freedom of thought as the last trench in the face of a coercive system.
Pedro, the father of the family, overcome with wine, embarks on futile ventures. MarĂa, the mother, transformed into an apple farmer, can barely bear her burden. Her teenage children, Bebo and Sole, have the destiny of suburban youth, between mischief and tragedy.
Three stories of ordinary people intersect on Christmas Eve: a dentist desperate to find his son's toy; a writer who is not happy and decides to look for the woman of his dreams; and a doctor who intends to flirt with a Spanish woman.
A lonely film projectionist through a series of odd events, discovers that he is the reincarnation of one of the inventors of cinema, and that a woman he sees in his dreams is his eternal companion on a trip through centuries.
