Heartbroken, Sudha tries to kill herself, but is rescued by Shankernath, who coaches her etiquette and teaches her English so she can go to England to win back her husband. The plan seems to work perfectly, until Shankernath discovers his own long lost granddaughter, Jenny, has fallen in love with Ramesh.

Bajrangbali has always regarded the skies and universe as his playground and could leap and fly around at will. Bajrangbali makes it his duty to serve Bhagwan Shri Ram all days in his life. He will make this comes to light when Ram's wife, Devi Maa Sita, has been kidnapped by Shivbakht Ravan, and is being held captive in far off Lanka.

Set four hundred years ago, Pannadai is an epic tale from Rajasthan centered on the loyal nurse Pannadai. After Rana Sang of Chittorgarh dies, his Queen Karunavati is besieged by Bahadursingh. Bichwa (Khote) is the queen of a devout Untouchable community not permitted to enter the temple. Her daughter Lakha, the best dancer in the community, marries the prince of a rival community of atheists and is excommunicated by her own people. The devout group has their devotion tested by economic setbacks and a major conflict erupts between them and the atheists but god materialises on earth, thus solving the problems of belief and its attendant conflicts. Untouchability is abolished and they can all join together to worship in the temple. This transparent piece of religious propaganda saw Guru Dutt’s acting debut in the minor role of Lachman, Lakha’s brother.

Meera is immersed in her love and devotion to Lord Krishna since a young age. When she grows older, her family get her married to the Rana of Mewar. Misunderstandings occur when her devotional poetry is thought to be love songs for someone. Several hardships are inflicted on her by her husband and her in-laws. She takes to sitting in the temple and singing bhajans (sacred songs) composed by her. Her brother-in-law tries to have her killed many times, but fails. She finally renounces her life in the palace and wanders from place to place singing devotional songs.

The story revolves around two kings, Prithvi Vallabh (Munj) of Avantipur who is kind and just, and Tailap, a neighboring king who is cruel. With the help of his sister Mrinalvati (Durga Khote) and another neighbouring king Bhillam (K. N. Singh), Tailap manages to capture Prithvi Vallabh. The rest of the film follows incidents following his captivity.
