Reminiscent of Martin Scorsese's 1985 production, After Hours, this film narrates the events of a night in the chaotic backstreets of Beyoğlu in Istanbul. The day he receives his wage, and after arguing with his wife, Haydar (Tarik Akan) leaves the house in a fury and heads to Beyoğlu for a wild night out. However, a prostitute and her pimp bring him such troubles, and he finds himself penniless and in police custody.
Ferdi (Ferdi Tayfur) moves to Istanbul with his mentally disabled sister, Oya (Sibel Savaş), desperately seeking specialized medical treatment for her. To cover the heavy medical expenses and build a future for them—including his plans to marry Figen (Nalan Türkoğlu)—Ferdi takes a job singing at a local music hall (gazino). Tragedy strikes when ruthless local drug dealers and criminals assault Oya, leading to her brutal death. Shattered by grief on the eve of his marriage, Ferdi abandons his music career and promises of a quiet life. Consumed by rage, he sets out into the city’s dark underworld on a relentless, methodical campaign of vengeance to hunt down every person responsible for destroying his sister.
