BiSH - PIA MUSIC COMPLEX 2019

On Saturday 28 September 2019, BiSH — the six-piece Japanese group who bill themselves as "a punk band without instruments" — took the CAMP STAGE at PIA MUSIC COMPLEX 2019, the open-air festival staged by Pia, KDDI and TV Asahi at Wakasu Park in Shinkiba, Tokyo. Cent Chihiro Chittiii, Aina The End, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D hit the stage at 12:20 with a full live band behind them, working up a crowd that filled the park on a bright autumn afternoon. This nineteen-minute programme is the BiSH portion of the eight-hour festival special that the satellite channel TV Asahi Channel 1 broadcast on 24 November 2019. It opens with all six members being interviewed at the festival's campsite, then carries three songs from the set: "GiANT KiLLERS", "Promise the Star" and "beautiful sa".

BiSH SPARKS the FiNAL BATTLE of REVENGE EPiSODE 3 at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A

BiSH SPARKS “the FiNAL BATTLE of REVENGE” EPiSODE 3 records the arena show the Japanese idol group BiSH played at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A on 5 December 2021 — the second night of a two-day stand and the closing instalment of BiSH SPARKS, a run of stand-alone arena concerts the group staged across 2021 but pointedly never billed as a tour. Playing Marine Messe Fukuoka had long been a stated ambition for the six members, and this two-day stand closed out the whole BiSH SPARKS run. After an opening film, Cent Chihiro Chittiii, AiNA THE END, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D drive through “BiSH -Hoshi ga Matataku Yoru ni-”, “GiANT KiLLERS” and “DEADMAN”, then deliver the brand-new “Beginning, End and Beginning”, premiered only the night before. “Orchestra”, “Promise the Star” and “beautiful-sa” carry the late set, a long and tearful MC precedes the end, and twenty-two songs close on “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” and “NON TiE-UP”.

BiSH: THiS is FOR BiSH at heavysick ZERO

At eight in the morning on 24 December 2021, BiSH streamed a surprise show, free and live, on their official YouTube channel from heavysick ZERO — a black-walled basement room in Nakano, Tokyo that holds barely a couple of hundred people. It is where the group played their first headline concert, "THiS is FOR BiS", on 31 May 2015; the new title changes a single letter. Aina The End, Cent Chihiro Chittiii, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D arrive in black pinstripe suits, standing on the floor among a few dozen masked fans, and open by singing "BiSH -Hoshi ga Matataku Yoru ni-" three times in a row, the way they once had to when they barely had a setlist. Sixteen songs follow, almost all of them early ones. Then, in the last MC, Cent Chihiro tells the room and everyone watching that BiSH will disband in 2023, and reads out four promises for the year ahead. An ending announced on Christmas Eve, in the smallest room they know.

BiSH: Mezamashi Summer Live

On 22 August 2018 BiSH — the six-piece Japanese group who bill themselves as "a punk band without instruments" — played the open-air THE ODAIBA Mynavi Stage in the plaza outside Fuji Television's headquarters in Odaiba, Tokyo. The set was one instalment of Mezamashi Summer Live, the free concert strand that Fuji TV's morning show Mezamashi TV ran through its summer festival "Welcome!! Wangan Summer Festival THE ODAIBA 2018". Under a hard midsummer sun, on a stage decked out with giant sunflowers and rainbows, Aina The End, Cent Chihiro Chittiii, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D tear through seven songs — "My distinction", "Life is beautiful", "Orchestra", "My landscape", "beautiful-sa", "BiSH -Hoshi ga Matataku Yoru ni-" and "Promise the Star" — in front of a packed, roaring crowd of the fans the band calls seisouin, "cleaning staff". Fuji Television produced the recording, which aired on the satellite channel Fuji TV NEXT Live Premium on 19 October 2018.

BiSH FiNE NATURE SENSATiON at Zepp DiverCity

"FiNE NATURE SENSATiON" was a free concert given by the Japanese idol group BiSH at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) in Tokyo on 3 October 2022. For years BiSH had staged an annual free show called "TOKYO BiSH SHiNE" — nicknamed "TBS" — at Zepp Tokyo; for 2022 they renamed it "FNS" and moved it to Odaiba. Admission was open only to people holding a ticket for the 6 August date of TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2022, the show BiSH had been forced to cancel at the last minute after Aina The End tested positive for COVID-19, and this concert was the make-good. Cent Chihiro Chittiii, Aina The End, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D run through fifteen songs and four MC breaks in ninety minutes, among them "Spark", "OTNK", "Shakai no Rule", "Promise the Star" and "Orchestra". Streamed exclusively on niconico, it was released on 15 February 2023 as Blu-ray Disc 2 of the limited first edition of "BiSH OUT of the BLUE".

The run had begun on 5 April at CLUB CITTA' in Kawasaki and covered 22 shows in 14 cities, the biggest live-house tour the six-piece had attempted. Cent Chihiro Chittiii, AiNA THE END, Momoko Gumi Company, Hashiyasume Atsuko, Lingling and Ayuni D perform twenty songs, among them "GiANT KiLLERS", "PAiNT it BLACK", "stereo future", "HiDE the BLUE", "Promise the Star", "Orchestra" and "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE". BiSH SPARKS “My BiSH Forever” EPiSODE 6 records the arena show the Japanese idol group BiSH played at Osaka-Jo Hall on 21 July 2021 — the second night of a two-day stand and one instalment of BiSH SPARKS, a run of stand-alone arena concerts the group staged across 2021 but pointedly never billed as a tour. BiSH Lets Go With Music at Miyajidake Shrine Fukuoka

One week before they disbanded, BiSH came to Miyajidake Shrine in Fukutsu, Fukuoka, and played on sacred ground. Staged on 22 June 2023 as part of KDDI's regional live project "Ongaku to Ikou" ("Let's Go With Music"), the show took its theme from the shrine's famous path of light and was streamed live to paying viewers on uP!!! and TELASA. A temporary stage was built beneath the shrine's enormous sacred straw rope, before a small audience of fans - "cleaners", as BiSH called them - drawn by lottery. Entering to a piano arrangement of "FiNAL SHiTS" and wearing the red costumes they treated as formal dress, the six members opened with their last single "Bye-Bye Show", gave "innocent arrogance" its live premiere, and dug out rarities such as "MOON CHiLDREN", "HUG ME" and "My distinction". Fourteen songs carry the evening from dusk into night, closing with "Orchestra" and "beautiful-sa" - a prayer for the Tokyo Dome farewell still to come.

BiSH: THE Keyakizaka GUERRiLLA BiSH at Roppongi Hills Arena

On 29 November 2017, the day their second major-label album THE GUERRiLLA BiSH went on general sale, the six members of BiSH - the self-styled “punk band that doesn't play instruments” - went out to ambush Tokyo. Announced only that morning on NTV's breakfast show Sukkiri, the free open-air gig “THE Keyakizaka GUERRiLLA BiSH” pulled roughly 2,000 fans to Roppongi Hills Arena at a few hours' notice. Flanked by bodyguards, the group rolled up in a white stretch Hummer and walked a red carpet laid straight through the crowd before tearing into six songs from the new record: My landscape, SMACK baby SMACK, Promise the Star, FOR HiM, GiANT KiLLERS and BiSH -Hoshi ga Matataku Yoru ni-. “We came to guerrilla Roppongi tonight!” Cent Chihiro Chittiii told the packed plaza, the blue Keyakizaka winter illumination glittering behind the stage. AbemaTV streamed the set live.

"stereo na future ni shinai YOKOHAMA" captures the largest free live BiSH had ever played: an open-air show on the waterfront plaza of the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse on 9 December 2018. It closed "BiSH Sankin-kotai the beyond", a three-day campaign that sent the six members round record shops across Japan behind their fifth major single "stereo future", released four days earlier as the opening theme to the game GOD EATER 3.
