The story of the black Christmas comedy Doblba! takes place in the extended Muk family. The film captures the life stories and problems of today's young people. On the one hand, there is a love of music and the problems of finding love in life, and on the other, the harsh reality of life in today's society. The fate of the main character is marked by financial problems, but also by the drug history of his loved ones. The film alternates between tragic moments and humorous dialogues, which are often interwoven with the slang expressions of today's youth. The plot is complemented by 12 original songs of various musical genres, sung by the performers.

Young photographer Ondřej's hobby revolves around flying ultralight aircraft. During one such flight, he spots two men at a lonely villa, one of whom is shooting at the other. He manages to photograph the scene, but is spotted in the process. Before he can develop the film, it is accidentally destroyed. Shortly thereafter, he meets a sad model named Viktorie and a wealthy businessman named Walter Rychman at a rock club, who offers him a job. Upon his return, he discovers that someone has searched his studio and soon realizes that Walter was the one who fired the shots. Although the businessman claims it was paintball, he asks Ondřej for the negative, and when the photographer tells him he doesn't have it, he threatens him. Ondřej decides to get to the bottom of the mystery and embarks on an investigation on his own. However, he becomes increasingly entangled in a confusing game that is difficult to navigate.

Honza Marak has long since abandoned a career in IT and has bought a cottage on the outskirts of a small village, where he’s settled in with his wife Marketa, daughter Anyna and son Sayen. He works in the woods as a forest labourer repairing roads and enclosures, cutting wood to sell and assisting the foresters. Marketa earns a living as a masseuse and alternative healer, making use of various mind-altering plants and mushrooms, which leads to conflict with the old inhabitants and eventually with drug enforcement. Daughter Anyna attends a distant school where her grades deteriorate as she wanders the woods learning from nature rather than from her textbooks.
The dark crime comedy is set in the present day. The story is inspired by the two biggest and still unsolved robberies that have taken place in our country in recent years. The main characters are three friends who were dramatically separated by fate years ago. Now they meet again in the backdrop of today's Prague. Why are these modern-day musketeers getting together? To make millions together! The robberies are successful, but what next? How can they enjoy their stolen money without attracting attention? Our three heroes discover that this is much more difficult than they originally thought. And they couldn't do it without the backing of international crime. The film is set in Prague and the attractive exteriors of Sri Lanka and Tunisia.
Eva Holubová, Tomáš Hanák, David Vávra, Milan Šteindler, Martin Dejdar, Jitka Asterová have all starred in early short films by Tomáš Vorl. Nobody knew them at the time. And they themselves had no idea that they would one day shine in the Czech film sky.
