Katya works as a consultant in a bridal salon. She sees countless brides and grooms pass before her, helping them make the happiest day of their lives truly special. But, as often happens, she has no time left for her own personal life. One day, Katya is approached by her friend Lera — the capricious daughter of a major company owner. Lera is in love with her colleague, Grisha, a charming but awkward programmer. The obstacle to her happiness is her father — a despot who pays no attention to his daughter’s feelings and has decided to choose a husband for her himself. Lera asks Katya to teach Grisha how to “keep up appearances” and turn him into a first-class suitor who might just win her father’s approval...

In a small Russian town lived a young woman whose life, by the age of twenty, had already been marked by many hardships. She grew up without her mother, and later lost her father as well. Forced to live with a cruel stepmother and stepsister, Nadya nevertheless cherished the memory of her father and longed to fulfill their shared dream. One day, a wealthy businessman arrives at the hotel where Nadya works as a maid. But would a rich and successful young man ever notice a modest maid? A little miracle — or a few unlikely coincidences — might just make it possible. Yet even more magical twists of fate will be needed for Nadya to attend the ball… or rather, the mayor’s reception.
Why does love die? Why did it seem to you, before you met Him, that He was the only Prince Charming in the world, and now you cannot even remember your first date with Him? Why is it that, when thinking of the past, you believe you have made a mistake and can only sigh sadly, "If only it would have..."? It seems to the 35-year-old Yekaterina Kolesnikova that her life got on to the wrong track: instead of being a model on the catwalk in Milan she works in a factory making working clothes. And her husband, a once brilliant and talented musician, has turned out to be a local finance officer. But now Fate suddenly gives Katya a chance to go back seventeen years and try to change her life. Will it make her happy?
