Two girls meeting at a porn audition, getting infatuated by one another and going through a journey in one day and one night followed by one dominant male figure, whose face we never see, but who plays as the force that separates them. It is a film about friendship and a metaphor for power and dominance that gets in the way of woman who could connect more strongly otherwise. Other than carrying that message, the movie has dark humor, a flashy and at moments uncomfortable atmosphere and a distinctive East European girl aesthetic.
Post-war Croatia, the late 1990s. After the conclusion of the war, the Croatian goverment offers the Serbian civilian refugees, a chance to return to their former homes, which have been serving as temporary residence for Bosnian Croats, who had to flee their homecountry due to the escalating Croat-Bosniak conflict. In the midst of ethnic tensions and unersolved conflicts, a police sergeant named Filip is assigned to investigate the disappearence of an elderly Serb from one of these villages.
Sanja returns to her village to sell her old house, but as soon as she arrives, her childhood friend Nataša shows up and insists they hang out. As they go through the village and revisit old memories, Sanja senses something is off with Nataša.
A female story from male perspective about two losers who invented an effective self-help method under the slogan "Love to the Sky, Fuck to the Stars", and find themselves in the whirlwind of sex, politics, religion, the media, the devastating power of the mind of celebrity culture, strip characters and court scandal.
