Close-up on a man who censored films during the last military dictatorship in Argentina, slightly inspired by the infamous Miguel Paulino Tato.
Every night, a family of four faces the terror of living in a haunted house. Except the house is not really a house, but a television set where darkness reigns instead of walls. If existence is merely a grotesque performance, who is hiding behind the camera?
The Felpetos have managed a clandestine lottery business for decades. The family enterprise operates in a small housing development. Maribel leads a crew of clerks who log the bets from her living room. Alejandra, her mother, lives in an identicalhouse just a few meters away, which serves as the administrative office. Some lotto bankers have been raided lately, and the atmosphere in the neighborhood has become strage since. There has been talk about police dismissals and big-money movements. Nobody can tell what is true from the rumors or the news on TV
Lila, a dedicated cleaning staff employee, runs an unofficial cafeteria with her friend Marcela. When she is officially promoted to direct it, tensions arise with Marcela that upset the delicate balance of the office after 30 years of camaraderie.
