Blind Guardian are among the most important representatives of power metal. Their epic songs are inspired by fantasy and literary classics. At Summer Breeze 2025, they will deliver a captivating show full of musical virtuosity, epic atmosphere, and legendary metal anthems. Setlist: "The Ninth Wave", "Blood of the Elves", "Nightfall", "Tanelorn (Into the Void)", "Time Stands Still (At the Iron Hill)", "Violent Shadows", "A Past and Future Secret", "Deliver Us From Evil", "Majesty", "The Bard's Song - In the Forest", "And the Story Ends", "Lord of the Rings", "Mirror Mirror", "Valhalla"

Prior to releasing the much lauded “The God Machine” opus in September 2022, BLIND GUARDIAN had been performing “Somewhere Far Beyond” in its entirety at Rock Hard Festival and Hellfest in Summer 2022 in front of ten thousands of fans singing along each track word by word, both shows were filmed and recorded professionally and aired via WDR and ARTE. For the limited triple-disc-edition of “Somewhere Far Beyond Revisited” the Hellfest material was newly edited by the band’s long-time videographer Dirk Behlau using additional multi-cam footage. This video is the official recording of Blind Guardian's performance at Hellfest in Clisson, France in June 2002.

Blind Guardian intended to record a DVD since early 1998, however, due to the band's high requirements, no existing metal festival had been considered suitable. Instead, Blind Guardian decided to create their own festival, back in their homeland. The First Blind Guardian Festival was held in Coburg, Germany, at June 16–17, 2003. It lasted 2 days, with the band playing during both nights. The entire show has been professionally recorded and subsequently released on a DVD entitled Imaginations through the Looking Glass in June 14, 2004.
