In this episode of the crime miniseries, Jan Kanyza, playing Major Bohuslav, investigates three murders that initially appear to be unrelated... Captain Mazancová rejoins the investigation team. The dead man, found in his apartment, was Hes, a blind drug dealer who once caused the death of a young girl. Her mother, Mrs. Arnoštová, is currently serving a prison sentence for taking revenge on him and causing his blindness. The second corpse is discovered by detectives literally in pieces, with parts of the body wrapped in plastic found in the river and elsewhere, and it takes a long time to identify the dead man.

The lead character is a young woman who becomes close with a colleague of her husband. She finds herself at an important crossroad in life and considers whether to take a decisive step.

Intolerance can already be ominously growing among children. Even the talented Petr, who is not accepted by his new classmates, will be convinced of this - he only encounters rejection and even betrayal of trust. More than exposing children's mentalities, however, the creators are trying to present a model of social morality, which, however, lacks both a more credible motivational background in the actions of the individual characters and the courage to point out the functioning of deformed relationships. However, they unfortunately did not reach the level and communication of Schorm's film Five Girls on the Neck, which dealt with a similar problem.

Thanks to a conspiracy between the girl and the dog, the whole family ends up on vacation in the middle of the Šumava "wilderness." At first, the alternative vacation seems idyllic. All the plans of the ambitious father and caring mother gradually fall apart when the daughter and the dog meet someone who understands them. And that person has friends at the guesthouse where the family is staying. Of course, the mother and her fiancé find these people a little crazy. But the girl and the dog are perfectly happy with them. The life full of restrictions and obligations that the girl has led so far is becoming a thing of the past. None of the adults who find themselves in their vicinity can be sure that their lives will not change, whether they want it or not.

The main character of the final short story True Love (directed by Vladimír Drha) is a frat boy (Pavel Zedníček) who spends whole days in pubs. He gets a harsh lesson from his wife, who refuses to let him see the baby...

In the first story, "The Sorrows of the Devil's Apprentice", we see a talkative storekeeper who is constantly advising his charges on how they should behave, unaware that one of the young men has fallen in love with his daughter. Overcoming shyness is also depicted in the second of the stories, entitled "May I Beg, Helen?"
