By chance, Lenny, a young children's book author, discovers a roll of film in an old camera. Curious, he has it developed and is astonished to find that the pictures must have been taken in Prague in 1968, towards the end of the Prague Spring. One of the photos shows a young woman. To find out more about her, Lenny publishes it in a Prague daily newspaper. The effect is disastrous: his family's house is broken into and his father is murdered. Shortly afterwards, he receives an anonymous letter containing only a Prague address. With this vague clue, Lenny sets off for the Czech capital.

A costume, slightly erotic, love fable with grotesque elements and a distinct black humor accent. Historicizing, Rococo decadence, visual stylization resonates with the wit, causticity, surprise and refined titillation of the theme. At the beginning of the story, the commentary says: "We know almost everything about the suffering of the working people before the French Revolution, but not much is known about the debauched life of the nobility. It is therefore high time to explore this less attractive topic in more detail." With wry humor, author and director Jaroslav Pozzi weaves together several stories describing the juicy sexual games of the rotten French nobility...
This wacky musical comedy builds on absurd ideas, parodic humour and many variously subverted references to famous...

Helimadoe are also the initial letters of the names of the five distinctive daughters of Hanzelín, a rough country doctor who not only treats a seriously ill boy, but also helps him overcome his painful emotional turmoil with his wisdom.

There was a school. And one day, a parrot named Bořivoj came to the school and got all the A's for himself. The children - the pupils - can't just leave it like that, so Eva and Petr set off to the mysterious exotic land of parrots. Climbing, repeating old truths, chasing grades without regard to real knowledge and understanding - simply parroting - that's what the authors try to denounce in this musical comedy with humorous exaggeration.
An interesting attempt at a postmodern crazy comedy with elements of parody. The plot turns on the search for the recipe of a liqueur made by the film’s financial backer.
The war will also affect children's games. The children hide a French boy who has managed to escape from a prison transport. Language differences certainly don't matter when sporting talent is on display. The refugee becomes a welcome addition to the schoolboy football team, which is about to play against the German soldiers.
