A Coperchia è caduta una stella

Pasquale and Luigi, two brothers about to get married, never lose their spirit for playing pranks on each other, such as scratching photos of their girlfriends or stealing money. One day, Hélène, a beautiful French woman whose car has run out of gas, arrives unexpectedly. The two brothers both fall in love with her and invite her to stay at their house. In the days that follow, Pasquale confesses that he wants to marry Hélène, and when his girlfriend finds out, she makes a scene in public that completely discredits him. The same fate befalls Luigi, who has to endure the whining of his girlfriend Rosina. Everything seems to be going well for Pasquale, now free and devoted only to the beautiful French woman, but a sudden encounter with his country friends upsets his plans. The young Don Enrico, an inveterate Don Juan, sets his sights on Hélène, who, having fallen in love with him, decides to return to France with him.

Policarpo, ufficiale di scrittura
7.4

Policarpo De Tappetti is a calligrapher who works under the orders of Don César Pancarano de Rondò. For many years, Policarpo has been seeking a promotion and a raise that never comes, and, it seems, will never come. One day, Jerónimo, the son of Don César, meets Celeste, the daughter of Policarpo, and falls in love with her. Policarpo sees in that relationship the solution to his aspirations at work, and does everything in his power to make this relationship fruitful. Don César, who presumes to be a count, sees with very bad eyes that his son meets a girl from such a different social position, and does just the opposite. But the efforts made by both parties will be of no use, since Celeste has fallen in love with Mario Marquetti, a "specialized mechanic" (typist) who is giving private lessons in the offices of the businessman Franquinet .

Carefree Giovanni

In this entertaining drama, "Carefree Giovanni" (Sergio Castellitto) is the beleaguered last heir to a dukedom closely associated with the great artist Leonardo da Vinci. As the curtain opens, one of Giovanni's ancestors drops dead when he hears that Leonardo has died. Cut to the present, and the last duke in this line, Giovanni, is miserable in a home shared by two older women who browbeat and badger him without mercy. Giovanni's one solace is to go up on the rooftop and gaze out at the world around him as he daydreams. He has a special passion for the lovely Claire (Eleonora Girogi) who lives next door. To show his sincerity, he zooms off paper airplanes in her direction. However, these missiles are made from actual letters written by the great Leonardo himself. Could this man be last link in the lineage that started 400 years earlier?
