During BLACK NIGHT, after performing all their songs, BABYMETAL concluded the first chapter of "Metal Resistance" and announced their journey to perform overseas. RED NIGHT LEGEND "Giant Corset Festival" was a concert held on March 1, 2014, at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. BABYMETAL became the youngest band to perform at the venue. Both concerts followed shortly after the release of their debut studio album BABYMETAL, on February 26, 2014, with the album and the shows having been announced at the LEGEND "1997" concert. Both shows featured the full support of a live metal band called the KAMI BAND. For RED NIGHT, fans were required to wear corsets around their necks, reminiscent of their first solo show, the Corset Festival at Meguro Rokumeikan.

Last year saw BABYMETAL take their “METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR” around the globe. At the end of the tour, the band returned home to Japan for several shows, including two at Saitama Super Arena on November 16 and 17 and Osaka-jo Hall on November 20 and 21.
