A former policeman turns full-time robber and goes on a downward spiral of crime in 1970s Rome.
Two very different men find themselves locked in the same cell: Romolo, a mature lawyer whose professionalism and integrity leave much to be desired, and Angelo, who was forced to commit crimes simply because he was unemployed and penniless.
