1952, Québec - Alys Robi, vocalist at the top of her popularity and recognized worldwide, was interned in spite of herself, by her father. Medical authorities prescribe her the only cure for a possible cure: the lobotomy. Under the bright lights of the operating room, Alys sees her 28-year life flash before her eyes.
Poetry and cinema merge as 11 filmmakers bring to life 21 poems by Québécois poets.
At the dawn of her retirement from the stage, Lise Dion takes a step back from her 35 years in the profession. Accompanied by figures who were important to her, she revisits with humor and nostalgia the significant moments that shaped her career.
Lise Dion makes people laugh, with her authenticity, her generosity and her self-deprecation, and returns for a fourth time on stage, tackling anecdotes and adventures of daily life with which we can easily identify.
Lise Dion appears in better shape than ever in "Le temps qui court", her 3rd career show directed by Michel Courtemanche and applauded by more than 365,000 spectators. In addition to explaining to us what she did during her absence from the stage which lasted 6 years, Lise gives news of Marcel and their teenagers... who, in principle, are no longer teenagers. Vacations in the South, technology, the passage of time, and the things you absolutely have to do in your life are among the topics she covers in an absolutely hilarious way.
