Ever want to switch off and live in the moment? This feeling inspired the Global Nitro team to go offline and focus only on the next turn, side hit, tweak, airtime, carve, pow slash or high five.

Scandalnavians and Monster Energy present a snowboarding full feature highlighting some of the favorite riders from Scandinavia.

A creative dozen of snowboarding’s most dynamic riders come together for Cheers, the new film by People Creative. The same crew who brought you last year’s Nice Try team up with legends like JP Walker and Jeremy Jones alongside young wizards like Joe Sexton and Zac Marben. Cheers bridges the gap between pedigree and potential—with a variety of talent, terrain, and locations to make this the best People movie yet. Filmed in crispy HD digital video with a wicked soundtrack, Cheers takes viewers up-close and on-location to Lake Tahoe, Finland, Sweden, Whistler, Revelstoke, Washington, Utah, Oregon, Minnesota, and Newfoundland for a full season of good times and great snowboarding.

Dopamine is a naturally occurring chemical in the brain that influences movement and reward. At the core of progressive snowboarding, it is movement and reward that provide a natural motivation for riders like Bode Merrill, Victor De Le Rue, and Brandon Cocard to evolve and innovate. These explorers of mountain and mental landscapes led the charge this year, changing the definition of what can be done on a snowboard, and changing the guard. From the Yukon, Kootenays, Valhallas, Monashees, Dolomites, and Pyrenees, the Absinthe crew proves Dopamine is free, but you have to get out there to earn it.

The Nitro Snowboard Team, stands for a group of individuals who enjoy living a life outside the norm that society has set. They snowboard how they want, all day - everyday. The idea of their new movie Good times was to capture how these guys ride when they are together and just snowboarding for fun, not necessarily for capturing the best trick on the biggest feature. Snowboarders will always push themselves and amazing things happen, but there are also a lot of fun situations along the way.

The lack of snow in much of the world, and a lack of snowpack stability in most other places, made this winter exceptionally challenging. Mentally and otherwise. A bit like a riddle, a maze, and a game of chicken rolled into one. With heavy consequences for not playing at the very top of your game. Lucky for you, (and for Absinthe) we were at the right place at the right time. But that would be a long and weird name for a movie, so we decided to call this one HEAVY MENTAL. You will be rocked. Riders include Victor De Le Rue, Austen Sweetin, Bode Merrill, Jason Robinson, Mat Schaer, Wolfgang Nyvelt, Manuel Diaz, Victor Daviet, Johnnie Paxson, Romain De Marchi, Blair Habenicht, Scot Brown, Ozzy Henning, Rusty Ockenden, Nils Arvidsson, Mathieu Crepel, Sylvain Bourbousson, Helen Schettini, and Mike Basich
