Amidst the fall of princely states in post-independence India, the friendship between Vikram, who comes from an aristocratic family, and a peasant is tested. Vikram turns vengeful after his brother is killed in a peasant colony.

In a small industrial town near Bombay lives Bholanath, who works at the local mill, and is the proud husband of Gauri, a daughter, Champa, and above all his son, Ramaiya, who is a graduate in the arts faculty, - the only one in this town who has attained this degree. But times are hard, and jobs are difficult to come by. When Bholanath loses his job, Ramaiya decides to find employment, and does so as a menial worker in the same mill his dad used to work. Ramaiya is very popular with his co-workers and they soon elect him as their new union leader. This puts Ramaiya in conflict with the Management of the Mill, headed by the owner, Kapoor, who has ordered that Ramaiya be eliminated post haste. But Ramaiya is determined to address the workers' grievances, and he gets himself framed for theft; has the police on the lookout for him, and so Ramaiya goes into hiding.

A woman raises the illegitimate son of her husband along with her own, treating them both equally. But her decision to hand over the property matters to the illegitimate son is met with hostility by her own revenge-minded son.

Wealthy Jaishankar meets and falls in love with Aarti, successfully woos her and agrees to meet with her dad to discuss their marriage. On the way there he ironically runs over him, killing him instantly. Guilt-ridden, he attempts to make amends to look after Aarti, her brother, Pappu, and sister, Mala, but conceals the fact that he was responsible for their father's death. Along the way, the caravan crosses paths with a group of gypsies that includes some causal young men. Sunita soon falls in love with Mohan but Nisha is attracted to Mohan and this puts Sunita in danger again to make matters worse Rajan has conducted a manhunt to find Sunita either by hook or by crook.

Widowed Radha lives in rural India in the 1960s, along with two sons: Bharat and Puran. Then a man named Bhurre gets killed, and the evidence points to Rajan, who is also arrested and produced before Justice Diwan, who also finds him guilty, and sentences him to death. Rahim then finds that his house had been burned down and is out on the street. Then the unexpected happens, Sharda is killed, and Diwan finds out that Rahim had been seen outside his house. Will Rahim be the next accused to be sentenced to death by Diwan?

Sanjay (Govinda), an honest police officer, is determined to bust the crime world which has taken over the city. Criminals have made a mockery of justice. His father (Shashi Kapoor), a senior police officer himself, makes heroic efforts in the fight against crime and initially arrests kingpin Jagannath, but winning the battle does not win the war. Vishal (Rishi Kapoor) comes from a wealthy Hindu family. His father is well known Chandraprakash Singh (Amrish Puri), and his mom is a housewife, Sharda (Asha Parekh). Vishal falls in love with a young Catholic girl, Ruby Miranda (Farha). While Ruby's dad (Alok Nath) approves of the marriage, Chandraprakash does not, and will not even hear of his son marrying someone not of equal status in wealth, leave alone a different religion. He is all the more enraged when he learns that Vishal is not really his son.

When Raja defends himself, and calls himself Roop, his very own mother denies this claim, and instead states that Chandra is Roop, her only son. Raja alias Roop must now make attempts to prove himself, and realizes that this is indeed an uphill task.

When Durga insists on living there, she is permitted to do so, not knowing that she has now entered a household where she will be another abused and submissive slave to her dominating mother-in-law.

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is a 1954 Hindi devotional biopic film produced and directed by Vijay Bhatt. The film is about the 15th century "medieval Vaishnav poet saint" and social reformer of Bengal, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, whom many considered an Avatar of Krishna.

Will Ronaklal be able to tell Ramdas the truth when he returns, or will be just let Deepak be the sole heir to all the estate and the property?

He leads a fairly routine and mundane life, until a new resident in the flat upstairs moves in - an attractive young actress by the name of Menaka Khanna, the daughter of a wealthy man, Dinanath.

Vishwanath Rai is a wealthy, kind-hearted businessman who has earned much respect by his deeds. Naganna, his brother-in-law, plots against him so as to execute some of his wicked schemes and make it big in the field of black money. When the former discovers this he fights Naganna and dies in the process. Thirsty for vengeance, his son Tejashri "Teja" returns from abroad after several years to confront his nemesis.

Hesitant to marry dancer Rajni, Ashok initially refuses but slowly falls in love with her. However, when Ashok and Rajni are about to get married, they find themselves embroiled in a murder.

Ram Kumar (Kader Khan) is the eldest of four sons in his family. He has brought up his three younger brothers, Shyam (Kanu Chauhan), Sohan (Jeetendra), and Mohan (Rishi Kapoor), with love and fatherly care, together with his wife, Sita (Asha Parekh). Sita has a younger sister, Gita (Juhi Chawla), who also lives with them. Gita is a child-widow. Ram does not approve of anyone referring to Gita as such. Ram decides that it is time for Shyam and Sohan to get married, and he picks their brides for them. Shyam marries Mona, and Sohan marries Sheela (Anita Raj). With the entry of these two new wives, the equilibrium of love and respect is disrupted, as both want more control and demand more respect, which leads to clashes and quarrels all round, and changes in the lives of all the inhabitants. Eventually, in the end, everyone lives happily together and Mohan and Gita get married.

Raju, John, Suleman and Shakti seize a hidden treasure of the deceased Anil Kumar. They face Kumar's widow Sharada who identifies Raju as her lost son. They then have to deal with Bandit Devi Singh.

Seventy years ago the wealthy Thakur of Neelamghat had an affair with a gypsy girl, and then married another woman. The gypsy girl's dad placed a curse on the entire Thakur family that whenever a male marries, his wife will die in mysterious circumstances after an year. The curse has come true over the years, and none of the Thakurs have escaped it's wrath. The latest Thakur, Prabhat has now come to settle in Neelamghat, and is attracted to the local doctor's daughter, Sandhya Gupta. When Dr. Gupta proposes marriage, Prabhat tells them about the gypsy curse, and both father and daughter scoff at this. They quickly change their minds one night, when they find Prabhat dressed as a groom, getting ready to marry a reincarnated gypsy girl.

Vikas comes from a poor family, and is attending college so that he can complete his studies, get a job, and financially look after himself and his dad. He meets with wealthy Asha at this college, and after a few misunderstandings, both fall in love. Vikas' dad passes during the exams, and Vikas leaves to attend the funeral, and is unable to complete his studies. Asha feels sorry for him, and arranges to get him employed with her dad, which he does so, not knowing that his employer is Asha's dad. Asha's dad wants her to get married to Ashwini, and he soon announces their engagement. Ashwini finds out that Asha is in love with Vikas, and arranges an accident for Vikas.

Dr. Sarin lives with his wife, Sunita, young daughter, Rekha, and his brother, Rajesh. Rajesh is an eligible bachelor, and on the lookout for a life-partner with a view of marriage.

DK is a bad person and running from house. He takes shelter priest house and marry with his daughter but later he refuses to accept her as his wife.
