Al McKay

A small town band makes it big, but loses track of their roots, as they get caught up into the big-time machinations of the music biz. Now, they must thwart a plot to destroy their home town. Built around the music of The Beatles, this musical uses some big name groups like Peter Frampton and Aerosmith.

Record executives want a highly-regarded record producer to focus on a white pop act whom they feel has the sound America wants. To keep his creative integrity, Buckmaster carefully begins to fight the system that has made him the respected producer he has become.

This is their story. This is their music...There is nowhere else you can go to see and hear the amazing stories and songs that form the history of Earth Wind & Fire. The Earth Wind & Fire story is told by the people who created it, lived it and made it happen.

Every year since 1970, the German town of Burghausen has hosted one of the world's biggest jazz festivals. During Burghausen International Jazz Week, the town becomes a "Bavarian jazz mecca": visitors from all over the world join residents to enjoy wonderful jazz performances in the colorful frenzy that grips the town packed with spectators and musicians. One of the artists featured in 2019 was The Earth, Wind & Fire Experience. In this concert, guitarist, composer and musical director Al McKay performs his timeless disco and soul hits. Joined by 7 of the 13 original members of Earth, Wind & Fire, he revives "Boogie Wonderland" and "September" from his world tour.
