Relive the NFC champion New York Giants and the AFC champion New England Patriots epic battle for Super Bowl XLII with special player commentary from the world champion New York Giants

In 2004, the Patriots won their first six games to set the NFL record for most consecutive victories, with 21. The streak was snapped at Pittsburgh in week 8 and in the game, New England lost for the season perennial Pro Bowl corner back Ty Law. With Troy Brown playing receiver and defensive back, New England would win all but one of their remaining games to complete one of the most dominating runs of all time. The Patriots once again proved their superiority in Super Bowl XXXIX with a 24-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. By winning their 3rd title in 4 years, the new England Patriots have solidified their place in National Football League history as one of the game's great dynasties.

In 2001, the New England Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI in the biggest Super Bowl upset in more than thirty years. When the 2003 season began with their prized free-agent acquisition of the summer injured for the year, the release of their defensive captain, and a humbling 31-0 loss to division rival Buffalo Bills, no one believed a second championship was possible. Except for the Patriots.

The 36th NFL Super Bowl is one for the books. A tight battle between the New England Patriots and the Saint Louis Rams in a game that will be remembered by football fans for many years. The Pats took home the trophy with a late field goal to secure the victory. New quarterback Tom Brady was the game's MVP.

Without the Tuck Rule, Tom Brady wouldn't have won his first playoff game – and who knows where his destiny might have gone from there. But whether what happened on January 19, 2002 was the right call or a terrible call, divine providence or deep conspiracy, one thing is certain: The life of Tom Brady, as well as the life of the Hall of Famer who hit him on the play, Brady's college teammate Charles Woodson, was forever changed that night.
