Scandal in a Small Town
5.5

Leda Beth Vincent lives in the small town of Shiloh and works as a cocktail waitress there. She is not too well thought of as she is nothing of a blushing virgin. But she is far from a whore and brings up her daughter Julie, a high school student, as a loving responsible mother. So, when she becomes aware that Julie's very popular history teacher, Mr Baker, spreads antisemitic ideas among his pupils, Leda Beth decides to ask Mr Baker for an explanation. But she comes up against a wall. Nobody in town - Julie less than all others - wants to support her and it looks as if she will have to bring the Board of Education to court. Kenny Rogers: The Journey
6.7

Career-spanning retrospective look at one of country music's most familiar icons; the gravel-voiced seller of fried chicken himself, Mr. Kenny Rogers. From Rogers' earliest days in showbiz as a member of folk singing group The New Christy Minstrels, through his days as a psychedelic hippie in his band The First Edition to his final rebirth as a be-suited country troubadour, this documentary covers it all. Known to many only for hits such as 'Lucille' 'Coward of the County' and his big duet with Dolly Parton 'Islands in the Stream' there's a lot more to Kenny Rogers, one of country music's most successful solo artists ever. As well as owning a chain or ribs n' chicken shops that give Colonel Sanders a run for his money, he's co-written hits with Lionel Ritchie, The Bee Gees and many more. Concert footage is interspersed with comments from Kenny himself and some industry heavyweights he's worked with over the years.

World Tour 1966: The Home Movies

With a set of drums and an 8mm color home movie camera, Mickey Jones toured the world in 1966 with Bob Dylan and The Band. He captured on film what became known as "The tour that changed Rock and Roll forever." The booing crowds, the scathing reviews, the stomping feet, the infamous catcall of "Judas!" ... all of this in response to Dylan trading in his acoustic folk guitar for an electric sound. Now, for the first time, drummer-turned-actor Mickey Jones (Sling Blade, Home Improvement), with the help of Director Joel Gilbert, chronicles the legendary 1966 Bob Dylan World Tour through his recently discovered home movies. The updated release includes new, exclusive full-length interviews with Charlie Daniels, Johnny Rivers, 1966 World Tour and Gaslight tapes sound man Richard Alderson, and new insights and revelations by Mickey Jones.
